Today, India took on New Zealand in the second ODI of the three-match series. The match was held at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.India got off to a great start with Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan setting the tone in the opening partnership. Rohit Sharma scored a brilliant century and Shikhar Dhawan scored a half-century. With their partnership, they set up a solid platform for the middle order batsmen.
The middle order batsmen further increased the run rate and the Indian side managed to post a challenging total of 347 runs on the board
Due to the stiff target, New Zealand was unable to chase it down and fell short by 28 runs.
